We are so excited to welcome 3 new members to the Wander Project team!
Our new Event Guides, Abby, Amy and Jonah will help staff the Wander Project tent for all of our Vacation Races events. Make sure to stop by at your next event and share the stories that inspire us all to do more with our passions!!
Abby Park
Abby Parke is originally from Maryland but currently lives in Arizona. She is an outdoors enthusiast, horse trainer, and dog mom. She ran her first half marathon with Vacations Races and completed a charity bib fundraiser through Wander Project at Zion in 2020. Abby also ran the inaugural Saguaro Half, the Rocky Mountain Half, and completed another charity bib for the Joshua Tree Half. She’s honored to have the opportunity to work with Wander Project spreading the mission of fundraising to support our National Parks and the surrounding communities.
Amy Warren
Amy is from Park City, Utah and has enjoyed the mountains her entire life! She love biking, skiing and of course running in the mountains. When she is not outside she is a third grade teacher. Amy also loves traveling with her two daughters and husband. They support her 100% even if they think she is a little crazy sometimes. Amy’s first fundraiser with Wander Project was in 2021 in conjunction with her 40th birthday. She was very nervous about raising enough funds for the event, but it ended up being such a wonderful experience. She is very excited to be a part of this team!
Jonah Williams
Jonah grew up in upstate New York. He is passionate about plants, animals, sustainability and the preservation of nature. He would prefer a 12 mile hike with 3000ft elevation gain over a long walk on the beach. Jonah learned about Vacation Races a long time ago and was finally able to sign up for his first one in 2021. Upon seeing the charity bib entry for the Wander Project and reading up on our missions and accomplishments, he didn’t hesitate to register for a charity bib. It was the first time he’d raised money for a cause but he succeeded through dedication, community and a little hard work.
