This week the Wander Project Make It Rain committee (which is what we call our grant committee) met for the last time. As we transition to 2023 and empower our participants to choose how charity bib funds are allocated, this committee will no longer need to review grant requests. It was very bittersweet. We loved

The end of the year brings a change in temperature, a round of holidays to celebrate, and one of the busiest fundraising times of the year! November alone hosts National Philanthropy Day (Nov. 15th), Giving Tuesday (Nov. 29th), not to mention Thanksgiving, and all the other holidays running up until the end of the year.

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the U.S. Trail Running Conference in Mukilteo, Washington. Spending time with race directors, advocates, and inspired individuals from across the country recharged me. It was amazing how the entire theme of the conference echoed our beliefs at Wander Project. The ongoing message was: we all can do

Twice a year the Wander Project “Make it Rain” committee meets to review the funds raised for half of the year and to review all of the grant applications we’ve received seeking these funds. Last week this committee met and we were so inspired by the 2022 athletes from the first half of our event
